God continues to transform hearts and lives in Rowlett, TX and I  am humbled and excited to still be in ministry with this Body of Christ.

The faithfulness of God’s love has seen us through 125 years (and counting) of ministry in Rowlett.  Through both the joy and difficulties of life, we have stood with this community.  We Celebrate our partnership and Christ’s presence!

I am an ordained minister in the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) and enjoy being part of a mainline denomination that embraces and welcomes all people to experience a growing relationship with Christ and one another, through the Word, worship, fun, service and study.

I am blessed to have a large extended family and an incredible husband (Dana); daughter (Carrie & soon to be son-in-law, Jeff); daughter (Jordan), Son-in& law (Brian); and granddaughters (Kenzie, & Riley) along with our” gathered” family (Courtney, Jeren & Laney)

My name is Austin Staggs I am 22 years old and originally from Phoenix Arizona. I moved to Lubbock Texas to complete a degree in youth and family ministry at Lubbock Christian University. I married my high school sweetheart Jordan. We have now been married for 3 years and have a 6 month old son Hudson. I am currently a student at Brite Divinity School pursuing a Masters of Divinity.

I am a level 17 Pokemon trainer trying my best to catch them all! I love to build Legos, play sports (including softball and ultimate Frisbee), and find new places to eat! Camping and spending time outdoors is one of my favorite past times.

I believe that God is at work best in community and so my mission is to be a part of as well as to facilitate a critically engaging community where we can laugh, eat, and be fully immersed in Gods creation.
